Chapter 14: Changing home again.

Andruk did not last long in our hands and soon we found ourselves having to make part with it. This time again we sold it, but the buyers pretty much forced us to do so. The family elders decided to buy Frostbourne but this time they also managed to get spiral peak. Frostbourne was our main city but it was far off isolated from the rest of Agon. Frostbourne also had all the amenities but the weather up there was very cold. The island was pretty much a vast ice tundra and the monsters were either too easy or too hard for my arms. I remember trying my luck with some yeti but they give little stuff and some bags. When I tried killing some varangian I soon realised that they were way above my level. Frostbourne was not the place for me to be and I did not like the island at all!

Spiral peak On the other hand, Spiral Peak was just the perfect home of my dreams. Just above the hamlet there used to live a group of dwarves and I used to pay them a visit almost every evening. These dwarves are quite rich and they topped my coffers abundantly. They also gave me many reagents and stuff that I put away safely. Just down the road there was a fort where some raven hobgoblins used to live. These give even more stuff but I could not take them alone. I always went here with my friends and we had good times there. The ravens also gave us some fine greatswords that till today, I still save with much love.

Life at Spiral peaks was not always peaceful though. We had a lot of enemies visiting us and in general lots of action. Sometimes we got overwhelmed by large gangs of ememies, and sometimes there came that sneaky dude who waited for the right moment to kill me. Sometimes these latter dudes did not make it back out of spiral peak.
